Polytec Routed Door Edge Mold Options

Updated on

Read this article for information on the different edge mould types for Thermolaminated and Ready to Paint (R2P) Polytec doors.

When selecting a Polytec routed door style, you will see that there is an EM code after the door style. The EM stands for edge mould and the number relates to a specific design/shape.

Each door style has a default edge mould, but that doesn't mean you are confined to this look. For example, if you were selecting a Lismore style door (EM7 by default), you could just as likely pair it with a Square edge (EM0).
If you cannot see the door and EM configuration you want in the selections, simply request that it be added using the Journal system.

Please note that EM11 only has bevels on the left and right edge. The top and bottom will be Square (EM0)
