What do the journal topics mean and which topic do I use?

This article explains what the topics mean so that you will know the appropriate one to select.

The topic is critical as it is used to define which Cabinets Online staff members are notified.

Make sure Ask Cabinets Online support staff is selected in the Who to ask: field.

  1. Cabinets Online Maintanence - Rework is for occasions where we have made a mistake and you need to report it to get repaired/remade.
  2. Customer Rework is to report rework that has not occurred from Cabinets Online. If there are any replacement items, they will need to be ordered through the QIITP Portal.
  3. Database Issues is used the report any "broken" functionality in the QIITP Portal, and it reports straight to our IT department.
  4. Delivery is for communicating requested delivery dates and correspondence regarding delivery after order has been placed. You can add delivery notes to the charge when the price is added.
  5. Message is for any communication that doesn't fit into any other topic.
  6. Ordering is used to ask questions relating to jobs at the ordering stage.
  7. Pricing is for questions at the quoting stage or requesting an item/style to be added to the QIITP Portal.
  8. Ship Incomplete is auto-generated when an order is marked as shipped incomplete in our factory.
  9. Warranty Contact is for reporting a failure of the product that occurs at a later date (ie.Long after the job has been complete).
