Updated on

This article will explain what is supplied by default and what to specify.

Style 1

Style 1

This style is a flat panel with differing edge moulds.

The edge mould will be around the whole of every drawer front.

Style 2 & 3

Style 2 & 3

These designs have a route around the face with the centre panel remaining the thickness of the specified door profile (18 or 21mm). This route is described as either Soft (curved in the corner) or Sharp (corner comes to a point).

They are available in either Bank or Individual designs. Bank means that the route continues around all drawer fronts, making it look like full door. Individual means that each drawer front will have the whole route around it. Both have no edge mould between fronts.

NB. Notice that for Individual design there are half rails where the drawer fronts meet. If you require full rails you will need to put that information into the room instructions.
Please view our Minimum
Heights & Widths spreadsheet to find out the shortest front height allowable for these profiles.

Style 4 & 5

Style 4 & 5

These designs have a rail around the edge that is the thickness of the specified door profile (18 or 21mm), but the centre profile has a recess machined into it.

It can only be provided as Individual design fronts (ie. Needs rails between.) and has no edge mould between fronts.

NB. Notice that there are half rails where the drawer fronts meet. If you require full rails you will need to put that information into the room instructions.

For this type of kitchen you will need to use 2 drawer front styles. The first being the routed design and the second being the flat panel with the equivalent edge mould. Style the drawer fronts as required (eg. Flat panel top, routed design for bottom two).

NB. Notice that there are half rails on the routed design drawer fronts they meet. If you require full rails you will need to put that information into the room instructions.
