How is it constructed? How do i modify this cabinet?

Updated on

A Base 2 Door 2 Drawer  is constructed in a captive gable method, meaning that the gables are sitting on top of the bottom (see front view below), this method helps to distribute the weight evenly through the legs .

As seen below the Base 2 Door 2 Drawer has the drawer section placed over the top of the door section. There is a fixed shelf between the door and drawer sections. There is also 2 vertical partitions for the drawer runners to fix to.

As standard the base 2 Door 2 Drawer comes with 4 legs, a back scribe, 2 drawers ( whichever type is specified), 2 drawer fronts, a fixed Horizontal partition, 2 fixed vertical partitions, an adjustable shelf and 2 hinged doors.
